BUILD RESSURECTION REMIX FROM SOURCE By TEAM_LS

What you need?


  • Linux on your PC

  • Stable net connection (myself got 10 mbps broadband)


1. Update command for Linux

sudo apt-get update

2. Install Java Open-JDK 7 for Lollipop & Marshmallow support

sudo apt-get install openjdk-7-jdk


3.Install Necessary Build tools:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install git-core gnupg flex bison gperf libsdl1.2-dev libesd0-dev libwxgtk2.8-dev squashfs-tools

After Install That install following Command

sudo apt-get install build-essential zip curl libncurses5-dev zlib1g-dev openjdk-7-jre openjdk-7-jdk pngcrush schedtool libxml2 libxml2-utils xsltproc lzop libc6-dev schedtool g++-multilib lib32z1-dev lib32ncurses5-dev lib32readline-gplv2-dev gcc-multilib maven tmux screen w3m ncftp

3. Installing .repo

mkdir -p ~/bin


Giving Repo permission


sudo chmod a+x ~/bin/repo


4. Make directory for RR


mkdir -p ~/RR


5.Initializing RR repo and Building the ROM


cd RR


repo init:repo init -u https://github.com/ResurrectionRemix/platform_manifest.git -b marshmallow


repo sync: repo sync --force-sync -j4


6.Building rom


2-If you are mt6592 user then download the device tree and vendor files for mt6592


Device tree:https://github.com/riad236/android_...


Vendor tree:https://github.com/riad236/android_... .


After download go to home/RR


Now create Folder walton/rx2 in home/RR/device


Create Folder walton/rx2 in home/RR/vendor


Now extract device tree zip to device/walton/rx2


And extract vendor zip to device/walton/rx2


DONE NOW TYPE


source build/envsetup.sh


brunch cm_rx2-userdebug -j10
